I am a member at Freedom Community Church in Fresno, California. As of recently, my hobbies are Muay Thai, playing music, Reading, and of course, studying! While I love these things, I usually spend my free time hanging out with friends and family.

Hello, my name is Kathy Yang and I am 29 years old. I will be serving as the LWC's Media Director for the next two years. I am a member at Hmong Baptist Church located in Fresno. My favorite hobbies are reading, drawing, and watching movies. In my free time, you will find me at Barnes & Noble browsing through the books, at the coffee shop, trying out new restaurants, or at the movie theater.

Hey everyone, my name is Alex Thao and I currently serve as the Discipleship Pastor for First Hmong Baptist in Broomfield, CO. I was ordained in May 2026 and look forward to serving the church and HBNA in a greater capacity now that seminary is done. I have been serving First Hmong for 20 years, starting when I was 13 (now you know how old I am). I got married in June of 2018 but have been dating my wife since 2011. So technically, we've been together for 15 years now! We do not have children yet, but we would love your prayers supporting our journey. We know that God is good and trust in His plan whatever that may be. God continues to teach us patience and how to trust in His great name. We continue pushing forward, knowing that regardless of our desires, we have a blessed assurance in Him. Looking forward to serving you all!
